Richard Bong State Recreation Area covers over 4,500 acres in the town of Brighton with a managed hunt, and the private farmland around Burlington, Kansasville, and Twin Lakes produces heavy-bodied bucks every gun season.
Craig's shop in Kenosha is a straight shot east on Highway 50 or Highway 142. Hunters from Burlington, Twin Lakes, Paddock Lake, Salem Lakes, and Kansasville have been making the drive for years for shoulder mounts and European skulls.
Western Kenosha County also has the inland lakes: Twin Lakes, Paddock Lake, Camp Lake, and the Fox River chain. Bass, walleye, pike, and panfish from those waters come in as skin mounts and reproductions.

The managed hunt at Bong puts a lot of deer in trucks during gun season. Do not cut behind the shoulders, keep the head cold, and call from the truck if you have questions about the cape.
Inland lake fish
Bass, walleye, northern pike, and crappie from Twin Lakes, Paddock Lake, and the Fox River. Freeze flat with a wet towel and bring a photo.

Every mount is quoted after Craig inspects the animal, since hide condition and size change the work. A 50% deposit holds your spot. Cash or check only. The balance is due at pickup.
