Not every animal comes from a Wisconsin tree stand. Craig mounts elk, moose, mule deer, antelope, wild boar, and exotics from ranch and out-of-state hunts. Big animals need bigger forms, more antler support, and careful planning for where the mount will hang.
An elk shoulder mount can stand five feet tall with the antlers. A boar shoulder mount shows the tusks and coarse hair up close. Full-body work is available for animals where the whole pose matters.
If you are hunting out of state, call before you go. Craig will tell you how to cape the animal and ship it frozen so nothing is lost between camp and the shop.
When This Is the Right Mount
- A bull elk, moose, or mule deer from a western hunt.
- A wild boar or exotic from a ranch hunt in Texas or the Southeast.
- An animal that needs a shoulder mount sized to a large wall or vaulted ceiling.
- Full-body or half-life-size work for a lodge or trophy room.
How It Works

Call before the hunt
Craig gives you caping and shipping instructions so the hide arrives in good shape.

Ship frozen or drop off
Frozen hides and antlers ship to the shop, or drop off in person if you are passing through Kenosha.

Form and antler set
Forms are sized to the animal. Antlers or tusks are set and secured for the weight of the mount.

Finish and pickup
Face, eye, and hair work, then a call when the mount is ready. Shipping can be arranged for out-of-area customers.
Field Care Before Drop-Off
- Cape long. Leave more hide than you think you need.
- Salt or freeze the cape as soon as possible in warm climates.
- Keep antlers, skull cap, and tags together with the hide.
- Call the shop with questions before you cut.

Pricing and Turnaround
Every animal is different, so Craig quotes each mount after inspecting it at drop-off. Hide condition, size, pose, and base all change the work. Call the shop for a quote or bring the animal in.
A 50% deposit holds your place in the queue. Cash or check only. The shop works first-in, first-out and does not offer rush service. You get a specific completion month before you leave, and a call when the mount is ready.
